Display and Design
The HTC Desire 320 comes with a TFT multi touch screen 4.5 inches with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (WVGA) and a pixel density of 218 ppi. It is encased in a suit of 10.5 mm thick having a weight of 145 g. Unlike smartphones HTC Desire premium, this entry-level device has a single row of speakers and also on the back.
Processor and operating system
In the heart of the HTC Desire 320, there is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. Along with a 1 GB RAM, the smartphone offers efficient handling of almost all kinds of tasks. It comes with Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS. It is compatible with HTC BlinkFeed trademark feature that lets you watch the news and changes taking place in their social media accounts from the home screen of the device.
Camera and storage
The HTC Desire 320 is armed with a camera autofocus 5 megapixel in the back that has a resolution of 2,592 x 1,944 pixels and is compatible with LED flash, geo-tagging and digital zoom. You can also record full HD videos with it. It is accompanied by a VGA snapper on the front. The smartphone has a storage unit built-in 8 GB which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot.
Battery and connectivity
The smartphone is equipped with a Li-Po battery that is not replaceable 2,100mAh and aims to provide up to 12 hours of talk time and up to 690 hours of standby time on 2G networks. The networking and connectivity features come in the form of USB port, GPS / A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, 3G mobile hotspot and Wi-Fi.
Verdict
The HTC Desire 320 comes nearly a year after its predecessor 310 was launched with almost the same features. The only noticeable improvement received by this phone is the Android KitKat platform. It is a good smartphone for beginners.
