Screen and configuration
The LG G4 Dual is one of the few Android phones that offers QHD screen resolution. The phone boasts a large 5.5-inch Quantum LCD screen that offers a pixel density of 538ppi. The Quantum LCD screen panel offers 20 percent wider color reproduction, 25 percent higher brightness and 50 percent higher contrast than the LG G3. The smartphone has a slim bow design, with a radius of 3,000 mm, which offers a 20 percent increase in rigidity compared to its predecessor.
The G4 runs Android Lollipop with the latest UX 4.0 of the brand at the top, which promises to offer a faster and more intuitive experience than its previous iteration. Under the hood, the phone has a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC, which has a Cortex-A57 dual-core 1.8GHz cluster and a Cortex-A53 quad-core 1.44GHz processor. The performance is enhanced by 3 GB of RAM and an Adreno 418 GPU.
Camera and storage
For images, the LG G4 has a 16MP rear camera with f / 1.8 lens, optical image stabilization 2.0, a dual LED flash, color spectrum sensor and laser autofocus. The phone also houses an impressive 8MP front snapper that is capable of recording 2,160p videos. Your camera application offers many software settings, such as RAW image recording, manual shutter speed, ISO settings and panoramas up to 104MP.
For storage, the LG G4 has 32 GB of internal memory on board, which users can increase up to 2 TB by inserting a microSD card, making it one of the first smartphones in the world to offer this functionality.
Connectivity and battery
In addition to offering dual SIM slots, the LG G4 has several connectivity options, including support for 4G LTE networks, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi (including the latest AC standard), NFC, A-GPS, DLNA, USB 2.0 and output video through Slimport for a resolution of up to 4K. A 3,000 mAh battery keeps the device running, allowing wireless and fast charging.
