You want to get one for yourself, but your pockets think differently. That is an important disappointment. Not from the company's perspective, however. Because Huawei cares. The people in your HQ know that not everyone can pay for their new flagship. So they made only one for you, the P8 Lite. As its name suggests, it is more agile in the price tag (as well as in some of the specifications).
The body shares the same design ideology (as of P8). It is not exactly the same, but it still presents a whole body of metal with a sensation almost without bevel as front. Yes, you have a written premium completely! The protected Gorilla Glass 3 screen has been reduced to 5.0 inches compared to 5.2 on the P8, and has a resolution of 720 x 1280 with a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. Apart from that, it has almost the same location of buttons on the left and right side of the phone frame, two speakers on the bottom, SIM card slots, etc.
The power of the phone is what really gets affected (just a little) by lowering the price. The HiSilicon Kirin 935 is replaced with a Kirin 620 processor and an octa-core Cortex-A53 1.2 GHz processor that replaces the more powerful one found in the real P8. The RAM has been reduced back to 2 GB and the phone has an internal memory of 16 GB (without forgetting that it still supports external memory of up to 128 GB with the SIM slot 2).
As for the camera, the P8lite has the same size primary sensor on the back, a 13 MP one with an aperture of f / 2.0 with dual LED flash and 1080p HD video recording. On the front, however, you can make peace with a 5-megapixel camera instead of an 8-megapixel camera.
As for the battery, the phone has a 2200 mAh which is, however, a bit less (compared to the P8), but considering the screen size and the jump resolution from 1080p to 720p in this model , it is quite justifiable. So, in general, the phone is not top-notch, but it is surely one of the best deals under this price tag.
